Association, Striving to Help Disadvantaged Woman and Children

A nongovernmental, non-religious and non-profit making indigenous organization; Established in 2013 by visionary young Ethiopian professionals. By fulfilling the requirements of the new Proclamation of Charities and Societies No 621/2009, registered as Ethiopian Residents’ Charity and obtained its new license in 2013 And re-registered in 2019 under the new proclamation 1113/2019 Governed by the general assembly and board members and it’s a board-led organization in the new civil society law amendment in 2019.

What We Do

Intervention in diffrent areas for the Development of Our Society

HIV/AIDS and health

Training: Basic entrepreneurship and basic business management skills;

Provision of seed money for poor women living with HIV

OVC and Education

Intervene in a range of issues related to children’s. These includes education, healthcare, psychosocial support, and life goal setting skills.

Economic empowerment and Capacity Building

Support Mothers identified as poorest of the poor and Women living with HIV/AIDs.

Basic Literacy and Numeracy

Providing a basic literacy training (read and write) and Business start-up skill for unprivileged Women to take their place in the future with DIGNITY and PRIDE..

Gender equality and GBV

Creating awareness on gender role stereotypes, household chores and household decision making practices to become voice to the voiceless.Fighting against GBV

Emergency Response

Providing food and non food items to conflict and drought affected IDPs in across the country.
